Our Primary Focus

KAREN Consultants is the brainchild of two addiction professionals with combined experience of over 35 years in the field of addictions.  We are dedicated to communicating:

1. the nature of the disease of addiction,
2. its devastating effect on individuals and families,
3. its negative impact on the community,
4. the process of recovery and healing for individuals and their family, and
5. the steps that the community can take to lessen the negative impact of addictive disease.

2010 Professional Training Series

KAREN Consultants 2010 Professional Training Schedule is now available. 

Training in the twelve core functions are provided each year for those seeking Tennessee licensure.  Many use this as a refresher course the year before they apply for licensure.  This training also meets the criteria for those seeking addiction certification in most states and nationally as well. 

KAREN Consultants is an approved continuing education provider for the National Association of Addiction Professionals (NAADAC) and the National Association of Forensic Counselors (NAFC)
